major airports. The location is in the Isothermal region of the
foothills allowing for all year round, mild weather activities available
in Western North Carolina such as: Lake Lure, Lake James, Lake Adger,
Lake Bowen, Queen’s Gap Golf Resort, Cleghorn Golf & Country Club
and the new White Oak Plantation Golf Resort to name a few. Green River

"ALEXANDERS FORD" This was a campground for the Revolution Army on the
