Spartanburg and Asheville. Its location allows easy access to three
major airports. The location is in the Isothermal region of the
foothills allowing for all year round, mild weather activities available
in Western North Carolina such as: Lake Lure, Lake James, Lake Adger,
Lake Bowen, Queen’s Gap Golf Resort, Cleghorn Golf & Country Club
and the new White Oak Plantation Golf Resort to name a few. Green River

just to the north of GRH on the Green River is a spot called
"ALEXANDERS FORD" This was a campground for the Revolution Army on the
